Founded in 1976 by entrepreneur and pilot Luc Pilon, Helicopter Transport Services (HTS) began with a single helicopter and a vision for excellence. Through reinvestment and steady growth, HTS expanded into the United States in 1993, establishing a strong operational foundation built on safety, innovation, and reliability.

In 2000, HTS opened its Corvallis, Oregon base and launched Skycrane operations, a major milestone that set the stage for the company’s global heavy-lift capabilities. Today, with a fleet of 11 Skycranes and a 210,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Aurora, Oregon opened in 2013, HTS continues to lead in aerial services, maintenance, and component overhaul.

Guided by the leadership of Denis Pilon, HTS continues to grow and diversify while upholding its long-standing commitment to performance, safety, and client satisfaction.
